We’re currently seeking a number of dedicated individuals to join our asphalt and spray seal teams based south Brisbane.

We’re also on the lookout for candidates with experience in laboratory testing—particularly in asphalt, soil, or concrete—to support our growing operations.

These positions start off as casual with full-time hours, and there’s real potential to move into permanent roles.

Current Opportunities:

Asphalt & Spray Seal Operators and Labourers

• Rake and shovel hand positions available

• General asphalt or spray seal experience highly valued

Machine Operators

• Skilled roles operating:
  Rollers
  Pavers
  Bobcats
  Shuttle Buggies
  Tractor Brooms
  Chip Spreaders
  Bitumen Sprayers

Asphalt, Soil & Concrete Testers / Technicians

• Experience in materials testing essential

• Ideal for those with NATA lab experience, field/lab technicians, or backgrounds in quality control

• Must be confident with sample collection, compaction testing, and using basic testing equipment

• Strong reporting and data recording skills are a plus

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

• Assisting with all stages of roadworks, from site prep to final finish

• Supporting the crew on the ground and operating machinery where required (with training provided)

• Adhering to safety protocols and following direction from site supervisors

• Taking part in daily toolbox talks, safety checks, and reporting incidents

• Working on both day or night shifts with the flexibility to adapt to changing site needs

Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: $40–$60/hour + penalties

• Night Shift: $58–$80/hour + penalties
  (Rates reflect experience and role type)

Please note: most of the work is conducted at night, so flexibility is key.

We’re Looking for Candidates Who:
Hold a valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Have experience operating plant or machinery (Rollers, Pavers, Skid Steers – preferred but not essential)
Can pass pre-employment checks including drug and alcohol screening
Are reliable, punctual, and ready to work ASAP
Are safety-focused and follow instructions in high-risk environments
Are available across a range of shift times (including nights and weekends)
Hold additional tickets or licences (advantageous)
