These roles will prepare engineering specifications, reports, calculations, layouts, production drawings, and cost estimates. You will define requirements, develop reference designs for new mechanical systems, integrate them into locomotives and wagons, and ensure their safe, compliant operation.

What We're Looking For
Degree qualifications in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronic EngineeringProven rail experience with a freight focus - locomotives and wagons are essentialHighly developed oral and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct detailed investigations and deliver clear reportsStrong computer skills, including experience in developing and managing information systemsKey Responsibilities
Review supplier designs to ensure compliance with specificationsLiaise with production engineers and personnel to ensure manufacturability and alignment with production goalsOptimise designs to minimise costs and align with project budgetsDiagnoses and correct failures or design deficiencies in existing freight rolling stockProvide technical direction and support to product service and maintenance teamsWhy Join Us?
