We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and experienced staff to join our fun, fast-paced catering team at The Italian Job Catering!

This is the perfect second job to fit around your current work—most shifts are casual and scheduled a few times a month, mainly on weekends. Shifts typically run from 2–3 pm until 8–9 pm, making it ideal to combine with other commitments while earning some extra $$!

What We’re Looking For:

• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for hospitality
• Previous hospitality experience and confident English communication skills.
• Your own car is a MUST (travel is required, and we pay for travel time). Public transport isn’t an option as most venues are in remote areas (30 mins to 45 mins from Gold Coast).
• Reliability and flexibility for weekend shifts.
• We’re ideally looking for long-term team members who can navigate the busy and quiet periods of the event season. Long-term opportunities are available and encouraged.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting our chefs with food preparation and plating.
• Running food to guests and providing exceptional customer service.
• Setting up and packing down event spaces.
• Keeping the workspace clean and organised throughout the event.
• Working in a supportive, energetic team at beautiful weddings and events.
• Most shifts are catering only. We potentially have bar work avaliable so experience is a plus. (Please attach your RSA if so)

This is a hands-on, physical role that involves lots of moving around—so you’ll never get bored!
