About The Role

The School Community Partnerships Facilitator (SCPF) will support the leadership in engaging and developing positive relationships with the community. They will also support teachers in embedding curriculum in the classroom and help connect students with external agencies to support their attendance and engagement in school.

Key Responsibilities Within The Role

Deliver in-school and cross-agency responses that promote effective service delivery, performance improvement and strengthened community connections, enhancing communications with like minded government agenciesSupport student engagement and attendance in collaboration with the schools MTSSBuild and strengthen connections with families and community stakeholders to inform local place-based action plans, targeting tailored and differentiated support to regional, rural and remote Queensland state school sites.Influence a place-based approach in the school and community by collaborating with key partners and across government agencies to deliver locally responsive and integrated strategies to school and community challenges.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants must have a current blue card and drivers licence.Ideally applicants should have working knowledge of the local community and external agencies to support connections and partnerships.Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of the curriculum to support teachers in embedded culture within learning as well experience working with students.It is highly advantage that our next School Community Partnership Facilitator has a calm demeanour when working with students.A HR licence would be nice to have also.
