Local role to Gladstone Roster: 6:30am to approximately 4:00pm - 5:00pmDuration: 4-6 weeks

About The Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Operator / Labourer to support short-term project works across an active construction site. This role will suit candidates with hands-on civil construction experience who are comfortable operating plant and assisting with general labouring duties as required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to working safely in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate skid steer and/or excavator machinery in accordance with site requirementsAssist with general labouring duties across the project siteSupport civil construction activities including pipe laying and/or road worksWork collaboratively with supervisors and site crews to meet project deadlinesEnsure all tasks are completed in line with safety and quality standardsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow site procedures, SWMS, and safety directions at all times

Essential Skills, Tickets And Experience

Current Drivers LicenceWhite CardSkid Steer and/or Excavator TicketExcavator experience highly regardedCivil construction experience advantageousPipe laying and/or road works experience desirableAbility to work long hours in a physical, outdoor environmentStrong commitment to workplace safetyReliability and punctualityAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamPositive attitude and strong work ethicWillingness to assist across multiple tasks as required
