THE POSITION

  • Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
  • Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to
  • Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control
  • Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided
  • Must hold, or be willing to obtain a WWCC and Police Check

THE PERSON

  • Chef's Trade Qualifications
  • Experience in bulk cooking
  • Great knowledge of food allergens and dietary requirements
  • A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and exciting latest food trends
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff
  • An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations
