About The Role

This is a wonderful opportunity for an optometrist to join an established practice and continue our legacy of delivering uncompromising local eyecare. You’ll be managing end-to-end eyecare across a wide patient base, in a practice known for its clinical independence, longstanding community trust, and close ties with local GPs and ophthalmologists.

Centrally located in the heart of Mudgee’s shopping precinct Equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including OCT, Optos widefield imaging, visual fields, and corneal topography 30-minute appointments as standard A friendly and supportive dispensing team who understands your clinical flow Genuine autonomy backed by a national network A multigenerational patient base who value continuity and care

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an optometrist who bring:

A broad, confident clinical skillset and a desire to keep learning At least 2 years’ post-grad experience The ability to tailor care across a wide patient demographic, from young to young-at-heart Clear, patient-first communication A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership Comfort in practicing independently while contributing to a broader team

You’ll be backed by a professional, experienced dispensing team and supported by G&M’s national frameworks, including Professional Services, CPD, and peer collaboration.
