What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate equipment used in rubber compound mixing such as the Mixer, Convex Extruder and Automatic palletising.
• Operate the automatic chemical weighing and bagging system.
• Forklift driving, storage and preparation of raw material and finished product.
• Daily checks of the machinery safety system to ensure that it is always in an operational and safe condition
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality
• Operate in accordance with environmental management standards
• Check and maintain cleanliness and orderliness around machinery and operating points

What We’re Looking For

• Must be clean shaven (or willing to shave) areas of the factory require masks to be fitted
• A pre-employment medical and laboratory drug and alcohol test, including additional testing for potential chemical exposure, is required as part of our health and safety commitment
• We’re looking for motivated individuals with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• Experience within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience operating plant and machinery
• A valid Australian driver’s licence
• Hold a forklift ticket
