What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate equipment used in rubber compound mixing such as the Mixer, Convex Extruder and Automatic palletising.
- Operate the automatic chemical weighing and bagging system.
- Forklift driving, storage and preparation of raw material and finished product.
- Daily checks of the machinery safety system to ensure that it is always in an operational and safe condition
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality
- Operate in accordance with environmental management standards
- Check and maintain cleanliness and orderliness around machinery and operating points
What We’re Looking For
- Must be clean shaven (or willing to shave) areas of the factory require masks to be fitted
- A pre-employment medical and laboratory drug and alcohol test, including additional testing for potential chemical exposure, is required as part of our health and safety commitment
- We’re looking for motivated individuals with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- Experience within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience operating plant and machinery
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
- Hold a forklift ticket
