About the role 

We are a pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking a Full-time & Part -time / Casual production assistant. 

The ideal applicant will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing activities in a manner which complies with GMP guidelines, our internal procedures and ensuring that EH&S requirements are always followed.

Exciting opportunities currently exist for an enthusiastic production assistant to join our Southport team full time, Monday to Friday role.

Duties include:

  • High level of attention to Work, Health and Safety obligations is required

  • Follow relevant SOP’s, WI’s and regulatory guidelines to ensure quality of product manufactured.

  • Observe all GMP, safety and company policies and procedures.

  • Performing repetitive activities on a production line

  • Regularly lifting up to 20kgs

  • Participate in GMP and other training programs

  • Assist in introduction of new process technologies and manufacturing process.

  • Perform general maintenance on equipment.

  • General stocktaking and warehouse duties that comply with Good Warehousing Practices.

  • Ensure compliance with TGA, ODC and QLD Health regulations.

  • Assist in audits to ensure compliance.

  • General housekeeping activities

What it takes to be a successful Team Member:

  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Production experience preferable but not a requirement.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.

  • Knows how to maintain basic tools and equipment.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to apply knowledge in a practical and professional manner.

  • Willingness to work in a team to assist and support others as required.

  • Accomplish objectives timeously.

  • Have a positive attitude.

  • Must be physically fit to load product in packages up to 20kg.

  • Have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
