Where You’ll Be Working

You will be working within the Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP), part of Aged Care Services based in Taree, with a secondary office located in Forster.

The program provides a 12-week, in-home rehabilitation service for eligible older people following hospital admission across the Lower Mid North Coast. You will work closely with clinicians and administrative colleagues to support care coordination and service delivery while patients are actively engaged in the program.

About The Role

As an Administration Officer Level 2, you will provide dedicated administrative support to Aged Care Services, with a particular focus on the Transitional Aged Care Program team. Your role will be essential in supporting clinicians to deliver timely and coordinated care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

Answering and directing phone enquiriesScanning and uploading documentation into internal systemsProviding administrative support to cliniciansReporting and reconciling patient data across multiple systemsMaintaining databases related to Commonwealth revenueLiaising with patients, carers, and family membersScheduling appointments and coordinating car bookingsUndertaking general administrative duties as required

This is a varied role requiring attention to detail, organisation, and strong communication skills within a busy healthcare environment.

How You’ll Be Supported

You will complete online education and training to support access to electronic health records and other systems required for the role.

You will be supported and trained by experienced Administration Officers, who will actively encourage your development and progression toward independence.
