Revenue Officer Water

opportunity for a full-time Revenue Officer Water to work with Council’s Revenue and Property Team to achieve

efficient accounting outcomes and improve the community.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a professional with high-level

numerical and administrative skills, great attention to detail and a strong

background in Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level, particularly

Excel and Word. You will also have excellent communication and

interpersonal skills and enjoy being an effective and harmonious member of a

small team. The role contributes towards the efficient and effective accounting,

modelling, raising and collection of Council’s rates and annual charges, usage

charges and sundry debtors in accordance with Council and legislative

requirements and the established strategic and operational goals of the Revenue

and Property Team.

The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $2,712 - $3,052 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $70,517 - $79,375 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).

Key Accountabilities

In

accordance with Council's standard operating procedures, timeframes, service

levels, policies and legislative requirements, carry out the following Revenue

accountabilities that include, but are not limited to –

Plan and co-ordinate activities and resources, maintain process and dispatch notices and undertake debt recovery procedures in relation to usage charges;Maintain the textual and transactional components of property and revenue records;Administer, Maintain, process, and undertake reconciliations, in relation to Revenue functions;Provide excellent customer serviceManage complex enquiries from Councils diverse customer baseCarry out all duties in a manner that is reflective of an efficient and harmonious member of the Revenue and Property Team in accordance with established Team practices.To actively promote and demonstrate the core values and behavioural requirements of the Workplace Environment Statement.
