Ideally situated on the pristine beaches of the Gold Coast, the oceanfront Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast offers 295 guest rooms and suites, 26 luxurious 2 & 3 bedroom villas, award winning restaurants and bars, a swim-up pool bar and over 14 flexible spaces for meetings and events. 

The Role

Reporting to the Outlets Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the In Room Dining department, ensuring all guest orders and amenities are delivered to the rooms promptly and with impeccable service. 

In the hands-on role, you will be responsible for liaising with other departments and leaders on guest requests, ensuring all charges are processed and posted correctly and ensuring all duties are allocated and actioned in line with Sheraton brand standards.

The Requirements

To be successful, candidates must:

  • Have previous experience in a hotel Food & Beverage operation, ideally within in room dining or similar

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for striving for excellence

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that will see you develop strong rapport with guests and colleagues

  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for inspiring, training and developing a team

  • A confident, proactive and thorough problem solver, with strong conflict resolution skills

  • A commitment to continue to grow and develop your career and leadership skills

  • The innate ability to remain calm under pressure when responding to last minute changes

  • Exceptional organization and time management skills will help you in managing competing priorities 

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holiday periods
