Your new role
Reporting to the Audit and Risk Manager, you will join a great Audit and Risk team. You will assist in the preparation and delivery of the internal audit plan.
In detail you will

• Perform periodic auditing activities providing ongoing assurance to the effectiveness of key controls and key business processes
• Deliver audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders within agreed budgets and timeframes and follow up on management actions
• Provide timely insight into risks and other issues that may be impacting the business
• Contribute to the design and development of business improvement projects
• Support the delivery of the risk management framework and the Internal Audit quality assurance and improvement program
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and proactively build a strong understanding of business needs to improve the internal audit and risk management services

What you'll need to succeed

• Self-motivation and an ability to work autonomously with integrity and objectivity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• CPA or CA qualification or working towards or willingness to study to attain
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role or with a strong accounting background
• Sound understanding of control systems and the ability to prepare sound internal audit documentation
• Some experience with internal control programs preferred
