The Role

Reporting

to the Director Infrastructure Services and based in Windsor NSW, the primary

purpose of this role is to

provide leadership, direction and be accountable for the performance of the Resource

Recovery Branch.

About You

You have demonstrated experience, in building, managing and

leading high performing teams with a focus on continuous improvement, highly motivated and thrive on the challenge

of developing and implementing creative and innovative business solutions and

associated work practices. You will be a champion for safety and ensure your

team are consistently operating under WHS safe work practices

Essential Criteria

Tertiary qualifications in Environmental

Science and Waste Management

Relevant technical discipline or demonstrated

equivalent competencies gained through experience

Demonstrated experience in developing a

Resource Recovery Strategy and Operational Plan, managing a Waste Management

Facility, waste projects, and legislative reporting

Demonstrated experience and success in

building and leading teams to deliver on shared objectives and fostering a

productive and positive culture

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of

operational and environmental legislation and EPA Licence requirements

associated with running Council’s Waste Management Facility, kerbside waste, recyclables and other waste

streams.

Professional verbal and written communication

Skills

The right to live and work in Australia

Class C Drivers Licence

WHS General Construction Work in NSW

Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Successful applicants will be required to

undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
