This is a full-time position suited to a motivated, client-focused professional with 2 to 5 years’ experience in Australian public practice.You will work closely with partners, taking responsibility for a broad portfolio of clients while also engaging in client-facing advisory, tax, and compliance work.Key Responsibilities:Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for:CompaniesTrustsPartnershipsIndividualsPreparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, and FBT where applicableTax planning and advisory support for clientsLiaising directly with clients, the ATO, and other stakeholdersAssisting with business structuring, tax compliance, and general advisory mattersSupporting senior accountants and managers with complex client mattersMaintaining accurate and organised working papersEnsuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax legislationBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships About YouTo be successful in this role, you must have:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent 2 to 5 years’ experience in Australian public practice accountingStrong understanding of Australian tax and accounting principlesExperience preparing financial statements and tax returns for:CompaniesTrustsIndividualsExperience using accounting software such as:Xero, MYOB, or similarExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlinesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProfessional attitude and client-focused approachDesirable (Not Essential)CA or CPA (or currently studying towards it)Experience with tax planning or business advisory workExperience using Practice Management softwareWhat We OfferCompetitive salary package ($75,000 – $90,000 + super)Professional development and training opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentExposure to a broad range of clients and industriesGenuine career progression opportunities within the firm
