About the role

We are looking for a part-time / full time Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Sarina Clinic in Sarina, Queensland. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our primary care facility.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

  2. Schedule appointments, maintain patient records, and manage patient flow

  3. Handle phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate healthcare providers

  4. Assist with the preparation of medical documentation and other administrative tasks

  5. Ensure the reception area is well-organised and maintained

  6. Provide support to the healthcare team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience

  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  3. Proficiency in using medical office software and other administrative tools

  4. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  5. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare industry practices

  6. Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role
