Labourer - Infrastructure - Dysart
We’re looking for a full‑time Labourer to join our Infrastructure Services team. You’ll be doing hands‑on work like construction, maintenance, and helping look after plant and equipment. Your work will support projects that benefit the whole community.
What you’ll be doing:
- General labouring work in civil construction and maintenance
- Helping with roadworks and day‑to‑day repair jobs
- Operating and servicing equipment safely
- Using basic mechanical skills to keep gear running well
- Working on your own or with a team depending on the job
What you need:
- 12 months labouring experience in civil construction or similar
- Blue/White Construction Card
- C Class Open Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a medical for fitness and safety
- Extra licences like LR/MR/HR or Traffic Control are a bonus but not required
If you are successful in this position, you will receive:
- Salary $65,227.21 - $ 66,375.54 per annum plus allowances, including: Construction Workers Allowance, Locality Allowance
- Nominally 38 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday (3 x 10 Hour Days, 1 x 8 Hour Day)
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- 15 days personal leave per annum
- Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
