Twin City Hotel is one of North Queensland’s largest hospitality venues, operating multiple bars, dining outlets and entertainment spaces. We’re seeking a reliable, detail-driven Tills Reconciliation Clerk to join our back-of-house operations team.
This role is ideal for someone who loves early starts and early finishes, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in getting the numbers right — while the rest of the city is still waking up.
About the Role
Working early mornings with consistent early finishes, you will be responsible for accurately counting, reconciling and reporting all tills from the previous day’s trade across multiple outlets.
Key responsibilities include:

Counting and reconciling all venue tills and floats

Identifying, investigating and reporting variances

Completing daily reconciliation and variance reports

Preparing documentation for banking and finance teams

Maintaining secure cash-handling and reconciliation procedures

Liaising with duty managers and operations where required
About You

You enjoy early starts and finishing your day early

Extremely accurate with strong attention to detail

Comfortable working independently in a quiet, structured environment

Previous experience with cash handling, reconciliation, finance or admin (hospitality experience highly regarded)

Trustworthy, reliable, and process-driven

Confident using basic computer systems and spreadsheets
