As Estimator, you will play a vital role in the success of our construction projects. Joining our team in Townsville, this full-time position will see you responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates to support our bidding and tendering processes.
The role involves:Â
Download and print tenders, set up physical and electronic tender folders
Distribute trade packages to potential subcontractors
Maintain and update subcontractor key information register
Processing and follow up of subcontractor quotes for Estimate purposes (phone, email or via or online system)Â
Complete all non-price tender forms and submission requirementsÂ
Maintain and update documentation and templates for tender submissionsÂ
Assist Contract Administrator and Project Manager as required.Â
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years experience within the construction industry including the ability to read and understand project plans and documentation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comprehensive use of Microsoft Office suite programsÂ
Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlinesÂ
Excellent attention to detail Â
Tertiary qualifications are highly regarded but not a requirement. Â
