The Opportunity
The B & K Group has engaged GWG to assist in sourcing a talented HR professional with a strong blend of Industrial HR knowledge and End-to-End Recruitment experience, based at their Berkeley Vale branch, supporting a workforce of approximately 150 employees.
This role offers genuine autonomy – you’ll run your patch and make decisions – while being backed by a supportive, transparent executive and operations team. You’ll take ownership of core HR functions, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance, within an established business that balances structure with flexibility to meet changing business priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple business units
• Organise pre-employment checks and clearances
• Set up new starters in HRIS and onboarding platforms
• Maintain accuracy, compliance and confidentiality of all employee records
• Partner with managers to assess and coordinate training needs
• Ensure compliance with awards, Enterprise Agreements, workplace legislation and internal policies
• Maintain knowledge of NSW workplace laws, industrial instruments, WHS and long service leave
• Assist managers with performance management and workplace relations matters
What We’re Looking For
• Experience utilising Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements within an industrial environment
• End-to-end recruitment experience (advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding)
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, flexible and people-focused mindset
• Formal qualifications in HR or related discipline (desirable)
