Your new role
As the Sales Estimator, you'll play a key role in the early stages of the customer journey. Working closely with the sales and design teams, you will produce accurate sales estimates, assess customisations, and ensure all pricing aligns with company standards and supplier agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate sales estimates, quotations, and tender documents
- Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications with precision
- Liaise with sales consultants, designers, and suppliers to confirm pricing and product selections
- Review variations and ensure correct pricing structures
- Maintain and update estimating data within DataBuild
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, building codes, and relevant regulations
- Provide technical support to the sales team where required
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Experience as a Sales Estimator within residential construction (project homes or custom builds)
- Proficiency with DataBuild (essential)
- Strong understanding of residential building practices, materials, and costs
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- The ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
