About the role

We're looking for a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at IKON Services Australia Pty Ltd' in Carrara QLD 4211. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of cleaners and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning staff

2. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the required standard

3. Monitor and maintain cleaning schedules and rotas

4. Liaise with clients to address any cleaning-related concerns

5. Provide training and support to cleaning staff as needed

6. Maintain detailed records and documentation

7. Assist with the recruitment and performance management of cleaning staff

8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement them

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or in a similar leadership role

2. Must hold valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa

3. Excellent organisational and time management skills

4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills

6. Ability to work well in a team and motivate others

7. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment

8. Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations

9. Must have 2 plus years' experience in a supervisor's role.

10. Forklift license would be beneficial but not necessary as full training would be provided.
