Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club, a top 35 semi private course on NSW's Central Coast, is hiring an Golf Course Mechanic to manage and maintain its turf equipment fleet. The course, set between Tuggerah Lake and the Pacific Ocean within a luxury resort, is recognised for outstanding conditioning, natural beauty, and environmental care. Our team prioritises exceptional course quality and member experience.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for the upkeep, diagnostics, and repair of all golf course machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You'll work closely with the Course Superintendent and Course Team to support daily operations and long-term turf management goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair a wide range of turf equipment including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small engines.

  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules and maintain detailed service records.

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues efficiently.

  • Manage parts inventory and liaise with suppliers.

  • Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness.

  • Train and support staff on equipment use and basic maintenance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience working as a golf course mechanic or in a comparable role

  • Certificate III in Outdoor Power Equipment or any similar mechanical trade qualification

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage workshop operations.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Passion for golf and turf management is a plus!
