About The Role
This is more than reactive maintenance.
As an Electrical Reliability Technician, you’ll focus on improving equipment reliability and eliminating repeat electrical and control system failures across a high-volume packaging environment. Working closely with production and engineering, you’ll take ownership of electrical performance, fault finding, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate electrical and control system faults and conduct root cause analysisImprove reliability of motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and packaging line control systemsPerform planned and breakdown electrical maintenance and support commissioningIdentify critical components and manage electrical spare partsSupport apprentices and contractors with a strong safety focusContribute to improvement and reliability projects across automation and control systems Support apprentices and contractors with a strong safety focusContribute to improvement and reliability projects
What You'll Bring
Electrical trade qualification (Electrician / Electrical Maintenance)Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or packaging environmentsStrong fault-finding skills across electrical and control systemsExperience with motors, VSDs, PLCs, sensors and electrical drawingsAbility to use CMMS and basic computer systems
Desirable
Exposure to TPM / 5S or reliability frameworksPLC experience (e.g. Siemens / Allen-Bradley)Forklift, EWP or other high-risk licences
