The Kialla Group operates both a specialised Organic Flour Mill and Stock Feed mill near Greenmount, about 15 minutes outside Toowoomba.

Our business handles grain from storage, to grading, to milling, to packaging premixed product shelf ready for our retail customers.

We have an opening for a Grain Receival Operator as part of our organisation. This position is open to those applicants with relevant experience in the same or similar industries, with pay scaling to reflect competence and initiative. 

We also welcome applicants with alternative experience. We can readily provide specialised training for applicants that show aptitude and commitment to their work.  

Role Specifics

This is a diverse role that goes beyond just operating, you’ll be a proactive person who cares about quality and wants to take the next step and have increased responsibility – but you back yourself knowing you’ve got the attention to detail to match!

• Coordinate with haulage providers to ensure timely arrival and receipt of grain onto site.

• Accurately and efficiently receive those shipments of grains into our facility.

• Setup, clean and operate automated and manual equipment to measure and move grain as need throughout the Kialla Group to production elements.

• Vigilantly inspect and maintain grain stores to prevent pest and environmental damage to our inventory.

This role includes physical and site-based duties such as climbing ladders, working outdoors, working at heights and in confined spaces, and working in dusty environments. Kialla Pure Foods will provide the required equipment and PPE to ensure work is carried out safely. Reasonable adjustments may be considered for applicants who can perform the inherent requirements of the role.

Our operators are offered training that is required and is suitable for the role.
