We are currently seeking an experienced, mature carpenter to join our dynamic team who also has experience as a Site Manager or Foreman. As Carpenter/Foreman, you will be responsible for: Constructing, installing, and repairing structures. Interpreting and reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.

Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material required. Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements. Building window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.

Laying out flooring, roofing etc ensuring they are levelled and compatible. Inspecting places and conducting repairs or maintenance. Building scaffolding and other construction structures.

Supervising job sites and a team of up to 6 tradesman at a time. Liaising with building managers, estimators, suppliers, clients and subcontractors. Upholding and implementing work health and safety measures on site at all times.

Requirements: Proven experience as a carpenter and a foreman with a strong portfolio of previous projects. Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials. Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools. Ability to read technical documents and drawings. Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.

Good physical condition and endurance. At least 4 years full time experience as a qualified carpenter Cert III in Carpentry (or equivalent) + HSC or equivalent preferable What
