About Your New Role

Join us as we expand our supports team in the Gold Coast Region assisting customers with complex needs. Our Disability Support Workers are the forefront of ensuring quality care and independence is embedded in the supports provided and work closely with internal and external stakeholders in facilitating innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential. Our current service areas include Coomera, Pacific Pines, Robina, Pimpama, Ormeau, and beyond.

About You

• Excels in complex support environments, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access
• Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing
• Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Has experience working with complex support needs, implementing care plans and handling mental and physical health challenges
• Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
• Is flexible and can work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights

Requirements

• A current Open Driver's Licence
• Paid Blue Card & Paid NDIS Worker Screening
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Minimum 1 year experience in the disability sector with high-complex needs
