Dawsons Engineering is a locally owned and operated engineering, fabrication, and maintenance services provider. With a proud history of delivering quality projects across Queensland, we’re known for our safety-first culture, expert workforce, and commitment to our clients.

We’re looking for an experienced or up-and-coming Asbestos & Demolition Supervisor to step into a critical leadership position within our business. With our current manager heading into retirement, this is a rare opportunity to take ownership of our asbestos and demolition division and shape its future.

You’ll oversee the day-to-day management of projects, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, manage customer relations, and drive project profitability. The right candidate will either hold the required licences or be trade-qualified with the drive to train up — we’ll provide all the support and certification for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate asbestos removal and demolition projects to schedule, budget, and compliance standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and delegate to a dedicated project team.
  • Manage project costing, financial performance, and reporting.
  • Ensure WHS, environmental, and quality obligations are met on all projects.
  • Foster strong client relationships and represent Dawsons Engineering with professionalism.
  • Manage project documentation, licensing, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Trade-qualified (mandatory)
  • Asbestos (AR) and Demolition (D1) licences desirable — or willing to attain
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Current Driver’s Licence
