The Opportunity
Ocean View Retirement Living is a vibrant community with glorious views of the Pacific Ocean for the enjoyment of all residents from the community centre. In this exciting position, you will work as a Personal Care Attendant to provide high-quality social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. This highly social role has a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks. This is a part time opportunity working the following schedule:
Your Impact
- Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g. driving them to appointments)
- Supporting residents with recreational and social activities
- Assist residents with their day-to-day routines in line with their current needs (e.g assist around their unit)
- Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
- Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date

What you will bring
- Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for independence and wellbeing
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
- Valid drivers license + vehicle (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
- Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)
