About The Role

We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical & Instrumentation qualified professional to join us as a Pipeline Operator Technician specialising in gas compression facilities working on Solar turbines and in return, you’ll benefit from a balanced work-life schedule with a 14 days on / 14 days off roster and the flexibility of FIFO, DIDO or Live Local arrangements, based on where you live.

Key Responsibilities Include

Responding to incidents and emergenciesOperation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipmentMaintenance of valves and other mechanical equipmentPatrol and maintenance of the pipeline right of wayLiaison work with landholders and public authoritiesA wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation and records maintenanceInter / intra state travel required at times

About You

The successful candidate will have an Electrical & Instrumentation trade qualification with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team in the gas transmission or gas processing industry.

You will bring the following qualifications, skills and experience with you:

Drivers licence (MR Class desirable)Demonstrated electrical and instrumentation experienceHigh pressure gas experienceSolar turbines compressor operation and maintenance (essential)Pipeline or process operations experience (desirable)Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
