ITACS provides a time-limited, goal-oriented service for older people who would benefit from additional low intensity therapy in their own homes as well as assisting with the decision-making process around long term care service supports.

As the Senior Physiotherapist in ITACS you will provide clinical leadership within Physiotherapy service provision including optimisation of client care delivery, and supporting the mentoring and development of staff. You will be required to have creative problem-solving skills in the community setting without direct clinical supervision when completing in-home assessments and interventions. You will also provide care planning and liaise with external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, adopting a collaborative approach to delivering low-intensity, home-based therapy programs. These programs support frail older adults who are ready for discharge from sub-acute hospital care but require additional assistance and support to safely return home.
