We are seeking a Removalist / Warehouse Assistant to join our team.

This role is for a reliable and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast paced environment, with a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. 

The Role

• Loading and unloading furniture for property styling projects 

• Handling stock with care to avoid damage during transportation and installation

• Working closely with the styling team during installs and pack ups of the styling projects, which may include furniture placement, art hanging and furniture cleaning

• Performing general warehouse duties, including organisation, unpacking, furniture assembly, restoration, and minor repairs, and cleaning

• Keeping the warehouse and work vehicles in an orderly and tidy condition

• Occasional driving of a company van or truck for furniture pickup locally or from Sydney or Newcastle region

• Monday - Friday, no weekend work!

What We Are Looking For

• Someone physically fit and capable of lifting and moving furniture safely 

• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and open to feedback

• Great attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment with time deadlines

• Good communications skills 

• Previous experience in furniture delivery or logistics preferred, but not essential  

• A current unrestricted Australian drivers licence with a good driving record is essential for this role
