Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and support to drivers and yard staff (Leading Hand).
• Assist with coordinating routes, workloads, and operational priorities.
• Operate a range of company waste collection vehicles and equipment.
• Deliver collected waste to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Complete daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Safely load and unload trucks in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain professional client interactions and uphold high levels of service and safety.
• Conduct safety audits and assessments as required.

Skills & Experience

• Essential: Unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ).
• Proficient computer/laptop skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
