CloudBreak Grain Marketing is South Australia's premier grain brokerage and advisory service, offering growers a comprehensive package of grain marketing solutions. Based in the Adelaide Hills, CloudBreak growers span from the South Australian Eyre Peninsula, right through to the Wimmera in Victoria. CloudBreak was established in 2008 and is now a rapidly growing agribusiness with a focus on helping grain growers increase their bottom line.
This admin / broker role would ideally suit someone with an interest in business or agriculture. In this role, you would be relied upon for ensuring the timely entry of daily pricing data, assisting in pricing research and maintaining general office tasks. This role would suit someone who has either had experience in business admin or is just starting out in the agribusiness industry. This role would ideally see you progress through a training program whilst you work, with the potential of taking on a brokerage role in the future.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. The candidate shall:

Have exceptional communication and customer service skills - both oral and written

Be computer literate and proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Be a dedicated team player with a willingness to consistently learn

A degree in either business, economics, agriculture or commerce would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential
Responsibilities
This role is integral to the day to day running of CloudBreak and involves:

Daily grain price discovery and grain pricing research
-
Assist in the dissemination of daily grain prices to clients
-
Management of office emails and ensuring any urgent matters are followed up immediately

Managing client calls/queries and directing them to the right team member
-
Liasing with growers in relation to all administration surrounding grain contracts, including logistics, transfers and payment.

Assist in the generation of client invoices
-
Assist the CloudBreak team with data research and input.
This role provides plenty of scope to progress in your career with training available for a grain broker position, and further support offered if you are interested in price risk management.
