Experience in Assessment of patients in ED to formulate a provisional diagnosis and initiate management. Capability to discuss with Senior ED doctor and refer appropriately using ISBAR or similar
Paediatric life support skills. Experience in paediatric term or previous work in a paediatric or mixed ED
BLS, ALS
This is not a trauma referral centre but we see some trauma. Need basic skills in trauma assessment and initial management. referral to trauma centre as appropriate.
Able to perform an assessment and referral. After hours patients needing mental health admissions are referred by Telepsych.Perform an assessment, make diagnosis/with differentials & hand over to medical team for admission. Perform clinical reviews of ward patients. Senior doctor responsible for MET calls

NSW Hospital paperwork (LHD specific); NSW Health online training modules; immunisations/vaccinations; Primary Degree; Fellowship & CPD Certificate (if applicable); References; CRC; NSW WWCC; Indemnity; Medicare provider number; ID check; NSW declarations (e.g. Hep B; TB; Secondary Employment; Code of Conduct); Current AHPRA Registration
