Piped Up Plumbing is growing fast, and we are seeking an experienced Receptionist / Administration Officer to support the daily operations of our business. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth coordination of office administration, client communication, and field operations.

 About the Role

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to person for admin and operations, supporting both our customers and our plumbing team in the field.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of administrative and operational duties, including:

  • Answering incoming calls and booking plumbing jobs

  • Scheduling jobs and keeping plumbers’ runs on track

  • Responding to customer emails

  • Managing vehicle servicing schedules

  • Maintaining electronic filing systems

  • Obtaining permits and booking inspections

  • Issuing Compliance Certificates

  • Ordering materials, issuing POs, and tracking deliveries

  • Basic payroll and bookkeeping

  • General office and admin support

About You – Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Some previous experience in reception and administration

  • Hands-on knowledge or past use of the following programs:

    • SimPRO

    • Connecteam

    • Xero

  • A basic to solid understanding of construction drawings/plumbing plans

  • Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Professional communication skills and phone manner

  • A reliable, proactive work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)

·         Experience with Bluebeam

  • Experience using HazardCo

  • Previous administration or reception experience in the plumbing or construction industry

Work Hours

Monday–Friday | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
