About the Role

IRT Catering are seeking a Casual Cleaner to assist with the day to day domestic services of our Central Production Kitchen. The role will be required to be available Monday to Friday with flexible working hours from 6am to 230pm or 830am to 5pm.
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering domestic services in our catering kitchen and cleaning duties. You will use your skills in time-management and attention to detail to ensure that work is completed to an exceptional standard, whilst gaining a rewarding career in the Aged Care Sector.

Your work may include:

Ensuring a clean and hygienic work are

    • Sanitise and the cleaning of a Commercial Production Kitche

  • n

    • The cleaning of public areas within the Catering Services Centr

  • e

    • Maintain a high level of personal hygiene, cleanliness and presentation adhering to the uniform/appearance and behaviour policy as per Staff Handboo

  • k

    • Adhere to OH&S requirements for a safe, clean environment and report any accidents/incidents to the Superviso

    • Complete relevant documentation in an accurate and timely manne

    • Other duties as required by the manager not inconsistent with the rol

    • A sound level of verbal and written communication skill

To Be Successful You Will Have

The demonstrated experience in the use of cleaning chemicals which may be used in a Commercial Production Kitche

    • Awareness of hygiene and safety issues in a Commercial Production Kitchen Environment Experience as a Commercial Cleaner in a Commercial Kitchen Environmen

    • Ability to undertake work in a refrigerated environmen

  • t

    • A sound level verbal and written communication skill

  • s

    • A demonstrated willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary tea
