A full time fitter/mechanic role is open to join our earthmoving equipment assembly team.

Minimum 1-2 years of fitter/mechanic experience is required for this position.

Candidates must have specific experience working with hydraulic systems.

Full Australian work rights are required for this position.

Experience is valued over formal qualifications for this role.

The role includes (but is not exclusive to) assembly, repair and testing of hydraulic cylinders, repair and servicing of factory equipment, making hydraulic tube and hoses, assembly of various items such as wheel hubs and axles with the main role to be assisting in assembly of the earthmoving scrapers both at prepaint and after painting to be ready for dispatch. All training is provided if any of these tasks are new.

A minimum of 1+ years experience with hydraulic systems is required.

A covered workshop with a cool sea breeze makes for a pleasant work site.

This is a Monday to Friday job (no weekend work), 6am start to 2:3pm normal finish time or OT till 4:30 or later is available.
