Our busy flooring store in Rockingham seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations.

 This hands-on role involves managing incoming and outgoing flooring materials, supporting installers, and occasionally conducting on-site measurements for customers.

 Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Handling: Unload carpets, pallets and other flooring products from delivery trucks.

• Material Preparation: Cut carpet and vinyl materials according to approved cutting plans; prepare orders for installers and customers.

• Loading & Dispatch: Load installers each morning with the correct materials and ensure timely dispatch of goods.

• Site Measures: Perform occasional site measures using the company van; take accurate measurements for carpet, vinyl and timber installations.

• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised; ensure stock is stored correctly and aisles remain clear.

• Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock takes, maintain accurate inventory records and report shortages or discrepancies.

• Coordination: Liaise with the sales team, suppliers and installers to schedule deliveries and ensure customer requirements are met.

 About You

• Previous experience as a flooring installer or similar role is beneficial - confidence with plans and measurements is highly valued.

• Valid forklift licence and experience operating forklifts safely.

• Physically fit and comfortable handling rolls of carpet and other heavy materials.

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach; able to work independently and as part of a small team.

• Current driver’s licence (required for site measures).
