Great client-side Project Manager opportunity working on an exciting Hobart-based project

The Hobart team is expanding due to continued demand and is now seeking a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to support major projects and broader infrastructure programs.
Your new role

You will prepare status updates and escalate key matters to the Lead Project Manager or Director as necessary.

You will also contribute to contract administration and design management activities, while managing stakeholders across client, contractor and consultant groups.

Your responsibilities include cost reporting, meeting coordination, communications, monthly reporting and supporting the lead Project Manager with day-to-day operational tasks.

You will conduct site inspections, coordinate works on the ground and undertake construction supervision to confirm safety and process compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, architecture, engineering or construction management
- One to five years experience in a client side, contractor or design environment
- Experience in aviation, government or health projects is desirable.
- Understanding of contract administration and design management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confident communication style
- Excellent time management and organisational capability
- Competence with Microsoft Office and ideally, Microsoft Project
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance
