About the Role:

We're looking for a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide non-clinical therapeutic support to individuals, families and groups experiencing social, emotional and/or financial challenges.

This is a permanent Part-time role offering 30.4 hours a week.

Key responsibilities include:
Conducting intake assessments, including risk and safety planningDeveloping and delivering family support plans and referralsProviding outreach services (e.g. school or home visits)Supporting individuals and families to develop life skills and strengthen relationshipsLiaising with child protection, youth justice and community agenciesMaintaining accurate records, case notes and reportsThis role is based in Toowoomba and may require travel across the service region.

Required Credentials & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Community Services or equivalentCurrent National Police CheckValid QLD Blue Card (Working with Children)Current QLD Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicleStrong communication, assessment and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamProficiency with Microsoft Office and client databasesWhy Join Anglicare?
