We’re looking for a reliable, motivated Control Room Operator to join our team full-time, working Monday to Friday on day shifts. This role suits someone who wants stability now, with genuine opportunities to grow and progress within the team.

The Role

As a Control Room Operator, you’ll play a key role in keeping sites secure and operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring security alarms triggered by AI-based detection systems
• Video-verifying incidents and escalating to emergency services when required
• Accurately logging incidents and communications
• Following professional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Working closely with the control room and IT teams in a fast-paced environment
• Assisting the internal IT support team when needed

What You’ll Need

• Queensland Security Officer Licence (Monitoring / Control Room function)

• Strong attention to detail

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic computer skills (experience with CCTV or alarm platforms preferred)

Desirable

• Previous control room or CCTV monitoring experience

• Exposure to emergency services, dispatch, or incident response roles
