Our Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:

• Interest in and/or passion for the RIE approach
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Inclusive of others and brings a positive attitude every day
• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our innovative and unique way of programming and practice
• Ability and motivation to build positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community
• Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid Blue Card
• Understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Experience within Early Childhood sector and comfortable engaging with various age groups
• Available for casual work across all service operational days/hours and able to be flexible as required (minimum 2-3 days per week)
• ACECQA approved Cert III and/or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or can be working towards your Diploma). Early Childhood Teachers are not required, and therefore will not be considered at this time
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates, Food Safety and Child Protection training, with a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).
