Following the merger of MyState and Auswide Bank, we’re bringing together two customer‑owned organisations built on strong values, community focus and genuine care for customers. This is an exciting time to join our Customer Banking team as we continue to grow, evolve and deliver better outcomes for the people who bank with us.

We are seeking a Customer Banking Specialist to support customers across multiple channels while building a long‑term career in banking. The successful candidate will work across both of our AusWide Rockhampton & Yeppoon branches.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service across all touchpointsProcess customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, account openings and closuresUnderstand customer needs and discuss banking products and services that may be suitableVerify and update deposit and lending applications and complete processing accurately and on timeEnsure compliance with banking policies, procedures and legislative requirementsAct as a voice for the customer by identifying opportunities to improve the customer experienceWork collaboratively within the team and assist with onboarding new team membersAchieve individual performance targets aligned to your weighted scorecard

About You

Strong communication skills with good attention to detailA customer‑focused mindset and professional approachGood time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasksConfidence following procedures and using banking systemsA willingness to learn, develop and take ownership of your performancePrevious experience in banking, lending or financial services is advantageous but not essential.
