As we integrate modern systems and streamline our processes, we are looking for a dynamic leader to take charge of our inflight Business Transformation Program. In this role, you'll:
- Play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our operations, leading an organisation-wide transformation that revises processes, unifies systems, optimises productivity, and drives continuous improvement.
- Program manage the planning and delivery of a large portfolio of inter-related projects, of differing sizes and stages, working with a highly motivated team of project managers, business analysts and subject matter experts from across Council business areas and vendor partners.
- Lead related planning, delivery, governance, reporting, procurement, vendor management, and change management processes
- Work closely with executive leadership teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to maximise momentum and ensuring the program is completed within agreed time, budget, and quality parameters.
What you’ll need for success:
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has it all. However, if you’re a project manager but don’t quite meet all the criteria, we would still like to receive your application.
- Extensive experience in the management and support of an ERP Transformation Program.
- Highly developed people management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate staff consisting of teams within various business areas, IT and vendor personnel.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to plan, prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed communication skills, specifically:
- Written: policies, guidelines and reports;
- Interpersonal: consult, partner, negotiate and interact effectively at all levels;
- People management: lead, motivate, coach and work as an active team participant.
What’s nice to have:
- Extensive experience in complex systems and processes program management
- Experience with local government business improvement and transformation
- Experience with TechnologyOne systems implementations
