About the Role:

Our Administration Assistant provides essential administrative and coordination support to the People & Culture team across Wilmar Sugar & Renewables. Based in our Townsville office, this role focuses on the day-to-day administration that keeps People & Culture processes running smoothly, including maintaining employee records, supporting systems and documentation, coordinating meetings, processing invoices, and providing general administrative support to the General Manager People & Culture. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role suited to someone seeking an opportunity to transition from reception or general admin into a corporate function.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative support across People & Culture activitiesManage documentation, filing and record maintenance across employee files and systemsCoordinate onboarding, offboarding and employee lifecycle paperworkMaintain accurate data within HR systems and reporting toolsSupport meeting coordination, scheduling and diary managementAssist with reporting, audits and process improvement from an administrative perspective

Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role (Reception, Administration or Shared Services experience advantageous)Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracyConfidence using business systems, databases and reporting toolsClear written and verbal communication skills with a professional approachA reliable, service-oriented mindset and willingness to support a busy team
