About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to provide technical expertise and improve plant reliability at BlueScope’s Steel Treatment Plant in Port Kembla.

What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot day-to-day problems and recommend robust solutionsAssess and follow up on equipment issues impacting plant performancePerform inspections, detailed planning, and condition monitoringComplete all aspects of jobs including planning, supervision, isolations, and electrical tasksCoach and mentor operators and tradespersons on equipment function and technologyConduct root cause analysis, reporting, and rectificationImprove plant reliability through quality maintenance inspections and repairs

Preferred Skills & Experience

Electrical Diploma or post-trade training highly regardedPLC experience (AB, Citect, Siemens preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
