About the role

Maze Plumbing is seeking a skilled Plumbing Tradesman to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the plumbing installation and maintenance of new homes. With a focus on quality workmanship and excellent customer service, this role is crucial in supporting the growth and success of our residential plumbing business.

What you'll be doing

1. Completing plumbing installations and maintenance for new home constructions

2. Reading and interpreting building plans to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards

3. Collaborating with site managers and other trades to coordinate efficient workflow

4. Troubleshooting and resolving any plumbing-related issues that arise

5. Providing exceptional customer service to homeowners and builders

6. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite

7. Assisting with the training and mentoring of an apprentice and/or trainees

What we're looking for

1. Fully qualified plumber with experience in the residential construction industry

2. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations and best practices

3. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

5. Excellent communication and customer service skills

6. Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

7. Current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle

8. Australian citizenship or permanent residency status required
