About the Role
Darwin SDPU is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work in Acute Surgical / Recovery. This role suits nurses with strong post-operative and acute surgical experience who are confident managing patient recovery in a fast-paced clinical environment.
 
Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in Acute Surgical and/or Recovery - mandatory
• Nursing Level: RN Level 2 (N2)
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Bed and Scope
The SDPU provides acute surgical and post-operative recovery care, supporting patients through immediate post-surgical recovery and short-stay admissions. Nurses are expected to manage post-anaesthetic observations, pain management, and acute surgical care.
