About Us
We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our Libraries and Lifelong Learning team in delivering high-quality, welcoming library services and engaging events that promote reading, learning, and community connection, aligned with Council values and strategic goals.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in developing and delivering community-focused events and exhibitions, working collaboratively with partners, supporting marketing efforts, branch operations including customer service and collection development. The role also includes providing support to the Team Leaders.

Qualifications And Experience
Completion of a degree course or through lesser formal qualifications with relevant work skills and eligibility for professional membership to ALIAExperience in the provision of information services including online resources.Working with Children checkDemonstrated skills and aptitude developed in a customer service environment.

Qualifications and experience as listed above.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organisational strategic outcomesWell-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with a range of people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and abilities.Considerable experience in a range of IT applications and digital technologies including hand held devices.Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of community programs, events and activities.Demonstrated ability to champion, model and promote the corporate values.
